HP ProBook X360 with Debian 12 Linux

HP ProBook X360 Flip

HP ProBook x360 G6 Running Debian Linux
Kernel : 6.1.0-35-amd64-amd64

The unit I tested had a 1366x768 touchscreen which can fold backwards to flip, and a solid-state drive of 128G. These are obsolete, but available reconditioned second hand at low prices.
The touchscreen is good. .

It has 2 USB ports , an HDMI port and an ethernet port.

Grub booted Debian 12 with no issues either from a USB stick or, once installed, from the internal Sata M2. No proprietary drivers were needed . Battery life and management are good.

The power supply is 19.5 volts DC. It has a non-standard power connector.

Sound and Bluetooth ran without issues.

The sound quality from the internal speakers is quite good. The absence of mechanical hard disk noise makes the onboard microphone more useful.

Both of the inbuilt webcams are good.

Battery charge lifetime and wifi range are also good.
